Andrew James started A. S. James & Associates in February 2004 after dedicating over 10 years to some of Jamaica ’s most prestigious Real Estate firms.  The motive behind the formation of the company was to create and maintain a goal-oriented environment through which associates could provide a high level of personalised services in areas such as Property Management, Valuations, Surveys, Auctioneering, Real Estate Sales and Rentals.

The company has some of the most talented and experienced Valuers and Real Estate Agents, all of whom are dedicated to providing a level of professionalism and world class customer service that is second to none.  An Administrative Assistant and Personal Assistant complete the firm’s staff compliment. Combined, the company’s associates have over fifteen (15) years experience in the Real Estate Industry and have made viable contributions to some of the island’s leading agencies. Included in this list are the: Urban Development Corporation, National Land Agency, JN Real Estate Company Limited, La Maison Property Services Limited and the National Housing Trust.
 
Managing Director, Andrew James is a graduate of The University of Technology, Jamaica, where he was awarded a Diploma in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying.  He also received his BBA in Management Studies from the University of North Florida and has completed his MSc in Geographic Information Science from University of Leeds , England .

Outside of his scholastic achievements and entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. James also dedicates a vast amount of time and personal resources to altruistic service. He is a Past Director and active member of the Kiwanis Club of North St. Andrew and currently Chairman for the Membership Committee of the Realtors Association of Jamaica as well as the Board Chairman of Emmanuel Basic School .
 
As the company grows, it continues to add resources to deal with the complex demands of the ever-increasing clientele to ensure that the level of service is never compromised. To this end, A.S. James and Associates has added a new dimension to its range of services by the provision of GIS services to undertake and evaluate needs assessment, develop specialized training programmes, conduct geodemographic analyses for target marketing and spatial data analyses for site selection in the real estate and related industry.
